A few things that will make you a decent player...
Be aware of your surroundings. Special infected are not as dumb as they look, so don’t get in a safe room thinking you’re saved.
Don’t shoot people on purpose. That only gives you a bad reputation and enemies that trust me, will get back at you even worse.
When shooting someone by mistake, apologize. Otherwise they think you’re one of the people above.
